Support: Maygen & The Birdwatcher

Maygen & The Birdwatcher weave a rich tapestry of Americana, blending folk and country with an eclectic twist. Lead singer-songwriters Maygen Lacey and Noah Neumann began as a duo and quickly grew into a 5, 6, sometimes more-piece band that crafts a fresh take on bluegrass-infused folk. It’s a hyphenated hybrid that can come only from a seasoned—and tightly knit—band.

With a sound that’s both familiar and innovative, Maygen & The Birdwatcher have garnered accolades like Album of the Year, Americana Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year from the Midwest Country Music Organization, and have had their songs featured in Spotify's Indie Bluegrass and New Grass playlists, Minnesota Monthly, 89.3FM The Current, and many others. They have toured the country and shared stages with the likes of Sierra Ferrell, Old Crow Medicine Show, Grace Potter, The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Indigo Girls, Yonder Mountain String Band, Molly Tuttle, Lindsey Lou, The Last Revel and more.

Their latest offering, Leap Year (released August 2, 2024), invites listeners into a contemplative journey inspired by the celestial themes of 2024, reflecting their unique blend of instrumentation and vocals. Meanwhile, they're gearing up to start releasing music from their sophomore full-length album The Americana Dream. That will be a whole other adventure of sound, including horns, kazoos, accordion, and saxophone. The Americana Dream is expected to be released this fall 2025, with singles set to start hitting airwaves in May. As Maygen & The Birdwatcher continue to evolve, they leave fans eager for more of their original, captivating music.
